Students Present SUNWORKS to Texas Sate Technical College

On September 29 the TSTC students presented SUNWORKS to Dr. Gary Hendricks, President of Texas State Technical College Marshall. The sundial is the creation of local artist Dennis OBryant. In an interview after the presentation, Dennis expressed his appreciation to all the people that assisted him in creating the sundial in particular, the students and staff at TSTC. He is proud that his work is now the biggest if not the first piece of public art now displayed in Marshall. His hope that this will just be the start of the installation of public art in Marshall. His vision is -- public art throughout Marshall -- particularly the downtown area.
