The banquet will honor up to 50 high school seniors who exhibit strength of character, self-confidence, future ambitions and respect for adults and fellow classmates. These young people live lives of service to their families, school and community. They often sit silently in the shadows without complaining, without criticizing, without questioning; yet, they are always there to get the job done when needed. These unsung heroes do not seek recognition, but deserve it. This may be the only honor they receive during their senior year, but such recognition will enhance their resumes and show dependability to college recruiters or potential employers.
