Recently I reported on the Chamber CEO "changing horses in the middle of the stream." This came about after the rules for the Chamber "Mover and Shaker" award changed to say that only chamber members were eligible. This abrupt turn of events came after overwhelming support of ETTOL staff member Billy Bob Ray, who was nominated with overwhelming support.

Now, not only did they change the rules, but at the annual chamber banquet they were unable to sufficiently, and effectively announce the correct winner of this new and prestigious award.

At 10:10PM on Monday evening, ETTOL staff was deluged with telephone calls reflecting the carnival like events. Reliable sources close to the chamber advised us that past president Ray Lawson announced the winners in a backward order, with the well deserved, recipient of the award, Mr. Allen Grantham announced in last place.
