Now for the bad news. What are they working for but to maintain the status quo when it comes to tourism and of course, the City of Marshall and its power structure. These three groups even have a motto for their efforts When its broke, leave it that way.

City Government lead by Frank Johnson doesnt want change. Is this pay back time to the Marshall Chamber and its support for his raise? Or is it payback to MEDCO who doesnt want an organization that may use our hotel taxes to create an industry they dont believe exists. Or does Frank believe that City Government based on its track record of over sight of the Chambers Tourism money or Main Street is really the team that can create a Marshall tourism industry?
