It sits in the slap-dab middle of City Park, yep, there it is, as big as all China, or darn near it.

You may think of it as a marble fountain. Not me. I think of it as 50,000 pounds of in-your-face to all the naysayers. They can't swallow this one with their morning bitter pill.

Not that it will make those naysayers change. No, here's the incredible irony of it all: The people who say Marshall needs to change but never will, the change that needs to occur is within them. They are so eaten up with  well, I don't know what with  that their minds just cannot compute what is going on here.

Not that I will argue with some of what they say. It is the kernel of truth that makes their arguments so seductive. But, looking for kernels you can waste an entire bag of popcorn.
