William G. "Bill" Michaels, Jr., 88, of Marshall, a lifelong East Texas resident, died at Christus Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday, February 3, 2007 after a short illness. A memorial service celebrating the life of Bill Michaels will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 2:00 o'clock p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Marshall, under the direction of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Father John Himes of Trinity Episcopal Church will officiate. Family visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Michaels was born on January 17, 1919, the only son of the late William George Michaels, Sr. and the late Lois Crawford Michaels.
