Destination Development is having a wee bit of trouble with Marshall, at least when it comes to the task of finding a "brand" that will give our city an identity and -- most everyone hopes -- brings tourists our way.
Some 10 days ago, the company hired by Marshall to help with tourism, came to town for the much-anticipated "brand" meeting and told the crowd that work had not been finished yet.
This led to some disappointment and derision of both Marshall and Destination Development, but we consider it much better that the company put the matter on hold rather than just pick a brand to meet a deadline. The work will be done when it is right and that says a great deal positive to us about Destination Development. This is the proper way to do business.
