The Sierra Club of Austin is coordinating a Rally on the steps of the Capitol on February 11th and appointments with our Congressional Representatives on February 12th , in order to support House Concurrent Resolution 43, a moratorium on the permitting of coal-fired power plants that are posing major air and water pollution to East Texas. We need to let Governor Perry and TCEQ know that we are opposed to TXU polluting East Texas with even more of their toxic chemical by - products from their out dated dirty coal power plants.
