I find the stories about the Fire Ant Festival, the Mud Bugs and all the other events wonderful and quaint, in the same way that one would enjoy reading the Prairie Home Companion. One of the more colorful characters seems to be Billy Bob Ray, not quite Garrison Keiller but a character none the less. I recently saw that he was soliciting votes for the Mover and Shaker so I cast my vote. Last week I read that the rules how somehow changed and he was suddenly ineligible.

Now it doesn't take an employee from Price Waterhouse to tell you that you don't start a contest and then change the rules. It appears that you are trying to develope your town into one that tourists would want to visit. This type of small-town dirty politics is not the way to do it.
