I address this topic now because the appointment of another member of the Main Street Board will be completed at the next City Commission meeting on Thursday night and the use of the first-time use of this process will be complete.

In December City Manager Frank Johnson decided not to re-appoint Henry Bradbury to the Main Street Board despite receiving both written letter and public comment at the November meeting of the City Commission.

When it was pointed out that there was another position open due to a resignation from the Board, City Commissioner Mike McMurry suggested that Henry Bradbury and Julia Robb be considered for the open position.
