Dawson to participate in panel discussion
Carol Dawson is an Austin writer who has written novels, "The Mother-in-Law Diaries," "Meeting the Minotaur," "Body of Knowledge" and "The Waking Spell." She has also written for Texas Monthly, Southern Living and Oxford American.
"House of Plenty" is a departure from her works of fiction, by delving into the history of Luby's Cafeterias, which includes, according to reviews, as many twists and dark plot turns as any novel. the story includes hushed-up thefts, family splits and the suicide of a chief executive officer.
