There will be no events taking place inside The Marshall this year on New Year's Eve. Those who wish to spend New Year's Eve evening downtown in preparation for the "Light Up the New Year" outdoor festivities are urged to go to any of the great restaurants and shops in downtown Marshall on or near the Courthouse Square earlier in the evening including OS2 which will feature music by saxophonist Jerry Payne beginning at 7:30pm. Other businesses that community members can contact for information about their New Year's Eve schedules include R&R Bakery, Under the Texas Sun, and others.
