Ten of the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales arrived in Marshall Tuesday afternoon, two years after the last visit from the "gentle giants," to help celebrate the 20th anniversary of Wonderland of Lights.

"We're just excited that they're here," said Geraldine Mauthe, Convention and Visitors Director for Marshall Chamber of Commerce. "They always bring a wonderful following to Marshall."

Chester, Clancy, Kyle, Andy, Lee, Diamond, Yankee, Marshall, Jeff and Jake are the names of the Anheuser-Busch, Inc. team of geldings that will perform in nightly shows Thursday and Friday, as well as Saturday's annual lighted Christmas Parade in downtown Marshall.

"People always enjoy them," Andrew Stalheim, assistant supervisor of the team, said Tuesday afternoon as staff members prepared to unload the horses at a makeshift stable erected at Wellington and Fannin streets.
