This was driven home on Friday when District Attorney Joe Black pointed out that Casey Sloan had told him that the trees that were recently lighted by city employees will be cut down in the next weeks or so – most likely prior to the opening of Wonderland of Lights. The trees are the small oaks trees located on the East and West side of the Square.
