An investigative report reviewing Marshall's Convention and Visitor Development expenditures over a six-year period revealed $40,000 worth of expenditures without proper invoices over five of those years, according to Lisa Agnor.
The city finance director said accurate documentation was found for 2006 but there was a lack of proper record keeping for 2001 to 2005.
"I found records for 2006 accurate and complete. No questions were left unanswered," Ms. Agnor told the Marshall City Commission Thursday night during a special-called meeting.
However, there was a lack of documentation to support expenditures for the years 2001 to 2005. It was more prevalent in 2001 to 2002, she said.
