If I only had a nickel heck, make that a penny for every time a disgruntled person had blamed a news story for all their problems, as opposed to, say, the facts within the story, you could find me in my hammock on Easy Street sipping on one of those drinks with an umbrella at the top.
The latest is chamber executive Connie Ware, who wrote in her weekly Focus newsletter that "efforts to make (the chamber) appear ineffective, disorganized and at times 'fiscally inappropriate'" have threatened the Wonderland of Lights.
Many of you might have thought that what was threatening the Wonderland of Lights was all that construction around the courthouse that has made lighting so difficult. You would be wrong, wrong, wrong. Actually what is threatening the Wonderland of Lights are "efforts to make (the chamber) appear ineffective, disorganized and at times 'fiscally inappropriate.'"
