Not often do we get the chance to marvel at young talent that is so strong it turns the heads of seasoned pros to stop and take notice. On November 11th at this months Words and Voices series, Marshall will have that opportunity. Fifteen year-old Tyler Dow Bryant, from Honey Grove, Texas will be sailing through town on his smooth guitar lics and soulful blues.
Tyler got his first guitar at age seven, but the interest to play it didnt hit until he was nine years old. He had visited a local music store to find a gentleman, Roosevelt Twitty sitting there playing blues. Tyler was intrigued with Twitty and his blues sounds. He sat with Mr. Twitty and played bass with him. Tyler was hooked on the sound, and playing the guitar just seemed to come natural for him.
