I am not being negative, which is a subject I shall address in another article later on, but in light of what has been going on over the past week and a half I would not be me if I did not put in my two cents. Meetings have been going on and meetings have been tabled again for a second time. Again, it is not that the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing, it is the fact that the right hand does no know there is a left hand. All concerned agree that Wonderland of Lights is ruined for this year. It makes no difference if the Crown of Glory, our courthouse has one light or one million. The courthouse as a centerpiece of Wonderland is ruined. Do not string any lights, do not draw attention to the fact that it is under construction by doing a half way job of lighting and decorating her. No more meetings, no more lies, no more passing the buck, at this point we are beyond who dropped the ball and passing blame to take the heat off oneself holds no merit. The square is out, the courthouse is out, make the best of what you have left, what you can salvage, and move on.
