The Michelson Museum of Art is proud to present a very special exhibition, SELECTIONS FROM THE SARAH CAMPBELL BLAFFER FOUNDATION: PAINTINGS FROM THE 17TH AND 18TH CENTURIES. This exhibit includes 25 works by Dutch, Flemish, English, Italian and French artists. It offers a representative sampling of the art from one of the richest and most diversified periods in the history of western painting. Through the eyes of these painters we see a vast panorama of the historical events and social customs that characterized this period. Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony van Dyek, Peter Lely, Parrasio Micheli, Geroge Morland, and Jean Lemaire, are just a few of the artists whose work is included in this superior collection.
