I think it is safe to say that last week I was not the only person surprised to learn that the Courthouse grounds were going to be torn up for this years Wonderland of Lights. In fact the falling of the first tree appears to be the press release that notified the public that this years Wonderland of Lights theme would be Christmas in a War Zone. I support the troops but I cant agree that this is a proper tribute. In the past few days, I have talked to many people and I have not heard a single person say they think starting this project a couple of weeks before WOL is a smart move.
