The ARTIST’S RECEPTION will be held November 16th from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM

The range of Connie’s work includes over 60 drawings, pastels, and oils with subjects including landscapes, still life, florals, figures, portraits, and animals in the classical realist to impressionistic styles. Before moving to Caddo Lake, Connie lived in Franklin, Tennessee where she helped found a landscape painting group. There she began doing oil and pastel plein air landscapes of the rolling hills , streams , and forests of that area. Her new home on Pine Island Pond on Caddo Lake has been a source of inspiration for many of the new works created for this exhibit. Between her husband Robert’s abundant gardens in the front of their home and the ever changing lake in the back, Connie has an endless source of material to paint in her own environment.
