More than 150 Caddo Lake stakeholders met with state officials and representatives of various agencies in Marshall Civic Center Thursday in the third meeting to discuss updates and planning strategies to protect the watershed.

Sen. Kip Averitt, chair of the Senate Natural Resources Committee, attended the meeting – sponsored by Texas Commission on Environmental Equality and Northeast Texas Municipal Water District – to hear the information for the first time. He will visit Caddo Lake in person today for the first time as well.
