Key state officials will join people from throughout the Caddo Lake watershed on Thursday for the third meeting aimed at protecting Caddo Lake and the Cypress Creek watershed as far west as Pittsburg and Mount Pleasant.

The meeting, sponsored by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Northeast Texas Municipal Water District, will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Marshall Civic Center, and will feature progress reports from three individual work groups in the areas of water quality, hydrology, and physical concerns such as aquatic vegetation.
