Wendy Thompson, Marshall Economic Development Corporation's executive secretary and administrative assistant, resigned from her position Friday after allegedly being reprimanded when a campaign flyer for her husband was found on the office copy machine.

Ms. Thompson, wife of Precinct 4 County Commissioner and Harrison County judge candidate Jeffrey Thompson, said the flyer was a "get out the vote" flyer to be passed out at a campaign fund-raiser at Marshall Visual Art Center.
