Wiley College -- Presidents Annual Run/Walk-A-Thon

The Presidential 5K Run and 2K Walk is being held to promote educational pursuits as well as active and healthy lifestyles. Wiley College has been at the community forefront in promoting healthy lifestyles by forming partnerships with East Texas Baptist University and Texas State Technical College that call for community involvement in promoting positive health outcomes by minimizing the prevalence of risky health behaviors. The registration fee is $10 per person for the general public and participants or corporate sponsors can obtain a sponsorship form by contacting Shannon Levingston or Dayna Bedell at (903) 927-3307. Registration/sign-in begins at 7:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the Enrollment Services Building with the Run/Walk slated to begin at approximately 8:15 a.m. Refreshments, music and prizes will be available and contestants will have the opportunity to participate in a mini-aerobic workout immediately prior to the Run/Walk.
