Historical Commission to sponsor Roadside Park meeting Oct 11
The Marion County Historical Commission will sponsor a public meeting to discuss the proposed restoration of the 1930s roadside park located on FM 2208. On hand to answer questions for the public will be Adrienne Campbell of the Texas Historical Commission. A representative from the Texas Department of Transportation will also be present to update the project. The meeting will be held in the courtroom of the Courthouse annex building located on Austin Street in downtown Jefferson beginning 3 pm on Wednesday, October 11.
