Marshall High Senior Selected National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist

Marshall High School Senior Barney Canson was the only student from Marshall Independent School District to be named a semi-finalist in the 52d annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Canson and 16 other academic standouts from Nacogdoches, Longview, Tyler and other east Texas school districts were selected based on nationwide qualifying test scores.
