Ms Jones letter states:

"As a current City Commissioner for the City of Marshall, and leading the way for the demand, of the city to conduct an independent audit of the books of the CVD, I feel at this time, it is a conflict of interest for me to continue to serve in my present capacity as a board member. My role as commissioner and working in the best interest of my constituents is my primary focus at this time."
