Marshall native and engineering consultant Henry Bradbury, who has been closely involved in monitoring progress on plans for a visitor center focusing on the ecology of Caddo Lake, said last week's announcement by Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison that another $500,000 has been tentatively approved for the Caddo Lake Institute's ongoing education and conservation efforts is good news for the lake and the Marshall area economy.
