Words and Voices Final Performance

After much contemplation and consideration, the decision has been made to discontinue the Weisman Center Presents Words and Voices, monthly concert series. Christi Wright said, "to all of you who have been faithful followers, I thank you, and I hope that your life has been enriched by the marvelous talent that has come our way over the past three-plus years." It's so unfortunate that the shows could not draw a large enough audience to justify continuing them. Although they featured some outstanding talent, often the number of people attending was under 40. Both Christi Wright and Grady Lee worked very hard to make Words and Voices a success. They should be thanked for their effort.
The final performer was singer/songwriter Jeff Black, originally from Kansas City, now living and working out of Nashville, Tennessee. Check out the photos from the event by clicking below.
