Assistant city manager Janet Cook revealed plans to the Main Street board this week to reuse Memorial City Hall as a civic realm that will meet the needs of five entities.
"This is an exciting project," she said. "The city of Marshall owns this building. It was our first City Hall building for many years."
The four-story, 22,500 square-foot building will serve the needs of Marshall Convention and Visitor Development, Marshall Festivals Inc., Harrison County Historical Museum, Marshall Regional Arts Council and Piney Woods Theatre.
