We should be doing absolutely no less than this more, much more, in fact to make certain that Philadelphia Eagles football player Ed Jasper does not walk away with the $4.5 million he wanted to invest in Marshall to take vacant lots taken by the city and turn those into affordable housing, that would actually be bringing the city (and county and school district) tax revenue.
Seriously. We need to act as quickly as possible to see that this opportunity does not disappear.
At this point it does not really matter exactly how and where the ball was dropped that should be a matter of discussion at some time in the near future. What matters right this minute is that it be taken care of.
