Texas State Supreme Court rules in favor of Caddo Lake Institute and others in the dispute regarding City of Marshall’s request for an amended water permit to provide water from Big Cypress Bayou to industrial customers.

In a decision released today, the State Supreme Court upheld a ruling by the Third District Court of Appeals in Austin that the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality erred in approving a request by the City of Marshall to amend its water permit without providing a public hearing on the application.
