According to the instigator of the "reunion", Marcia Thomas, quite a few ladies who modeled for the widely-known Mr. Lynn's Modeling and Finishing School from the late 50s to the mid-70s are still in and around Shreveport and almost 20 showed up for the first meeting back in February. Ms. Thomas said that when Ernest Palmisano, owner/chef of the famous restaurant, learned that the ladies wanted to meet where they had often worked in the early days, he was adamant that they come to his place even though it isn't normally open for lunch. Palmisano remembered many of the lovely ladies who modeled beautiful garments from the major stores of the city such as Selber's, Goldring's and The Fashion and he has a large collection of The Spotlight Magazine that featured some of the Cover Girls on the front cover.

All those who went through the school as Cover Girls are invited to attend the dutch treat luncheon and bring their portfolios and memorabilia to share. Some men also modeled during that time and they are especially invited to attend.
