Law enforcement is big business and comes with an "amazing" prize tag, Harrison County Sheriff Tom McCool told Marshall Lions Club Tuesday.
In addition to discussing his budget requests for next year, McCool told the club of a new courthouse security system, implemented in full at the beginning of this week.
As of Monday, McCool said, a deputy was assigned to man the metal detector at the east entrance the only entrance remaining open to the public.
