"They are all watercolor mediums and something different," said Ms. Spears, director of the museum, of the 30 paintings.

The exhibit, featuring work created by winners of the traveling show, is being displayed throughout the state. Its next stop is San Antonio. Ms. Spears said she is happy to have it here. "The variety of work...everybody is going to find something they enjoy and that speaks to them," Ms. Spears said. The local exhibit is partially funded by the Fisch Foundation of Tyler.
