On Tuesday it was business as usual. In so many ways Americans just don’t walk the talk – in my opinion it is unforgivable how we treat the members of our Armed Services.

I often say that my father and mother were members of “Our Greatest Generation”. I strongly believe this because they uniformly scarificed for this country and asked nothing in return.

They were members of the “us generation”. I am a member of the first “me generation”. We are the generation that expects everything from the County but is unwilling to give anything in return. There is one exception – the members of the Armed Services. They give so much, yet we are willing to give them so little.
