Marcia Thomas of Jefferson, actress and singer, who gives one-woman play "Texian Woman", had a bad fall at a local grocery store last wednesday and was carried by ambulance to Marshall hospital. An operation was done on her hip. She is in rehabilitation now and is expected to be there for treatments for a few days. She is in good spirits, but finds it hard to move around. She will return to Jefferson to stay at her mother's home when the doctors release her.
