Seventy-two paintings were submitted prior to judging. Carolyn’s painting, a brightly colored abstract, was selected from those submissions. The juror was Albino Hinojosa, former Louisiana Tech art educator and full time artist residing in Ruston, Louisiana. The exhibit will hang in the Barnwell Garden and Art Center until July 8, after which it will then be shown at the Michelson Museum of Art in Marshall beginning July 11.
