Friends of the Marshall Parks -- Organizational Meeting

What? Friends of the Marshall Parks --- Anyone who reads the paper knows that big things are happening at City Park located beside Marshall Regional Medical Center. But, exactly what big things are in store no one can imagine. In an effort to communicate with the community; and, for anyone interested in working toward improving and restoring all of our Parks in Marshall, now is the time to get involved. On Tuesday, May 9th at 6:30 in the Marshall City Commission Chambers (same building you pay your water bill) there will be an organizational meeting of FRIENDS OF THE MARSHALL PARKS. Beckie Bates, current Vice President of the Parks Advisory Park to the City and Gail Beil, past President of the Board have been working diligently with others to establish this non-profit organization. The Friends Group will be a vehicle for the general population to become involved in this fabulous effort to reestablish Marshall City Park. Walking trails, a state of the art play place, fountains --- BEAUTIFUL. Come hear details on the 9th.
