I have had the opportunity to first meet Mike at the city commission meetings. He was actually attending the meetings for over a year, just because he was interested in our city government. You see many candidates never show their face at a city commission meeting until they are a candidate. That is not the case with Mike McMurry.

On a personal level, I have always tried to support open government, the downtown revitalization, good government, and of course basic city services. I believe that Mike McMurry will continue the support of a citizen-first platform. I know with complete certainty, you will be able to call Mike as your city commissioner and he will call you back. You might not always agree with the way he voted, but Mike will take the time to call you back and tell you WHY he voted the way he did.
