I was confident that the count could hit 100,000/month. I predicted that the count would reach that level by the end of 2005. I said if it did not I would have egg on my face.

Unfortunately, the count leveled off at about 75,000 hits as we ended the year. So this guy has been walking around to three months with egg on his face.

Technically, we exceed to 100,000 mark in August 2005 but that was the result of a single article -- “Thank you Congressman Gohmert for protecting us from the Arts”. That article received over 50,000 hits in a three-day period and that resulted in a 129,626 month. Click here to see the article.

Unfortunately you can’t expect a gift from the Congressman each month, so we dropped back into the 75,000 range the next month.
