Marshall's Artistic Base Could Make It an Art Mecca

The effort to diversify Marshall's economy could be taking an artistic turn in the future if Grady Lee's dream becomes reality. Lee, a self-proclaimed "new kid on the block" to Marshall who has been in the city a couple of years, last week called a meeting of several local leaders in the business and arts communities with some expertise from the state level thrown in the mix. By capitalizing on the solid base of arts and culture activities already here, the city has the potential to become an arts mecca with a regional and national reputation, he said.
