Many people have made a considerable investment in the attempt to rescue
another Marshall neighborhood from becoming a group of uninhabited houses.
These remodeled and upgraded house contribute in a positive fashion to the
City's tax base and many businesses which sell products and materials for
our remodeling efforts.
Do not destroy the effort of the people in my neighborhood by putting a
commercial storage building (Bishop street) in a residential -- historical
in nature, neighborhood. What is the purpose of destroying a rebounding
neighborhood with a one time storage unit that can be located all over the
City's commercially zoned areas.
What is the purpose of a City's General Plan, Zoning Restrictions, or a
citizen investing in a neighborhood if the City is going to grant waivers
every time some one wants to build something.
This facility will be a blight on our neighborhood -- please stop the
destruction of my neighborhood.
Sincerely,
Tom Allin
