Opinion: CVND action unwise -- submitted by Tom Walker
Paul Fortune introduced a motion to delay the vote until the CVND board members had a chance to attend the April 26th Watershed Protection Program sponsored by TCEQ and NETMWD, and to hear personally from CLI President Rick Lowerre on how the $400,000 of federal grant money would be spent.

These same six voted down Paul’s motion (3-6) for that opportunity, saying “What will they tell us that we haven’t heard before?” That’s a terrible mistake on their part, for it’s an arrogant slap at TCEQ, NETMWD, and CLI.
