The second in a new speaker series on railroad-related topics at Marshall's Texas & Pacific Depot and Museum will be today at 7 p.m.
"Discussions at the Depot" is free to the public and features interesting railroad subjects presented by speakers with expertise in that field. After the speaker completes the presentation, audience members are invited to ask questions and join in discussion of the topic.
Speaker for this month will be Griff Hubbard. Hubbard, son of the late Judge James Robert Hubbard, is a fifth generation railroader and has over 35 years in the railroad industry. In 1996, he was selected as Amtrak's "National Employee of the Year" and is currently revenue manager for Amtrak's Texas Eagle and Heartland Flyer.
