Speak Out! I was at the courthouse yesterday inquiring about the rules and regulations about serving wine at a catered event. One of my clients requested that. By mid-afternoon, it was all over town and people came into my restaurant saying that I had applied for a liquor license. Please, let the record be known that I was not down there applying for a liquor license. I do not know how the rumors spread so fast in such a small town. Speak Back! However, I have met Mr. Crisp and I am shocked that anyone in their right mind would ever think that he would be applying for a liquor license. I can only conclude that the people that spread this vindictive rumor had started nipping a little early and were operating under the influence of Jim Bean rather than the influence of Our Lord.
