The prize-winning products of months or research into the history of family, community, state and nation will be on display Wednesday, March 8, in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church when the Harrison County History Fair opens. Essays and displays of subjects ranging from Dr Pepper to doctors and home remedies were chosen by students from Price T. Young Middle School, Marshall Jr. High and Trinity Day School. The first place winners from each of the schools, chosen earlier, will make up the show. Subjects from the 30-plus entries range widely. Some are about family - a survivor of the Titanic and descendants of the Vaughan Family of Jonesville. Others illuminate community - The Dallas Caddo Club, MarshallÂ’s railroad history and Harriet Potter.
