For years we, the Citizens of the United States, have been utterly polarized. Whether you are Democrat/Republican, White/Black/Hispanic, Texan/Louisianan, Northern/Southern, Eastern/Western, Baptist/Methodist/Catholic/Muslim/Buddhist, Harrison Co./Marion Co., Rural/Urban, Sportsman/Animal Rights, Smoking/ Non-smoking, etc. we have always and will always represent two or more points of view. What concerns me these days is the complete lack of respect and decorum. This “do whatever it takes, say whatever it takes” attitude to win at all cost has us succumbing to undemocratic and un-American behavior.
