Residents pounded on Marshall commissioners Thursday over a proposed amendment to a recently passed city ordinance. One resident charged the board with creating the appearance of cronyism.
But not much changed.
Residents were upset commissioners had proposed amending an ordinance which would legalize Commissioner John Wilborn's election to the Marshall Economic Development Commission.
Last summer, at the behest of Commissioner Bryan Partee, commissioners passed an ordinance which forced members of city boards to resign if they ran for a commission seat.
